5 world's famous flower shows

If you love flowers, you probably have attended at least one flower show in your area.  During a flower show, you can see the latest flowers, marvel at different flower arrangements, or learn about gardening by attending a lecture.  It is no wonder that these shows are so popular with people all over the world.  Here is a list of some of the most famous flower shows that happen all over the world.

The Philadelphia Flower Show is held annually in the city of Philadelphia in the United States.  This show is usually held in spring and is well attended.  The Philadelphia Flower Show claims that it is the largest such show in the world.

The Chelsea Flower Show, also known as the Great Spring Show, is held each year in London, England.  The show is hosted by the Royal Horticultural Society and usually last for about 5 days.  Visitors from all over the world attend this show which has been held since 1862.

The Lal Bagh Flower Show is also a famous flower show held in Bangalore, India.  The show takes place in The Glass House, a building on the grounds of the Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens.  In addition to the flower show, guests can also tour the aquarium and the lake that are located on the grounds of the Botanical Gardens.  This show is one of the main tourist attractions in this area of India.

The Keukenhof Flower Show is held in the Netherlands each year.  This show is the world's longest flower show and runs for about 9 weeks.  Visitors to this show can expect to see bulb flowers like tulips and daffodils as they stroll through Keukenhof Gardens, a park located in Amsterdam.
 
The Melbourne International Flower and Garden show also attracts visitors from all over the world.  The show, which has been held since 1995, is sponsored by Mitre10, a hardware chain located in Australia.
