How to make a geranium bloom?

How to make a geranium bloom?

Flower lovers often purchase at least one geranium for their garden and when you see one bloom, you will be completely amazed at why so many individuals purchase these flowers and work so hard to increase their blooms and to help them grow as large as possible. This is because these flowers are amazing to look at and they add great depth to any garden. If you are not sure how to care for these flowers and how to make them grow and bloom, then you will be very happy to read this article.

When you have a geranium and you want it to bloom, you will need to make sure that you are paying close attention to where you are planting it. This is because they need to get between 6 to 8 hours of sun each day. This means direct sunlight even though you may be afraid that they might dry out and die. You want them to be planted directly in this light.
Next, take some time to work on the soil that you are using. It needs to drain well and you must ensure that your plants are not going to be resting in large puddles of water. This can actually damage the roots and make it even more difficult for your flowers to bloom. You do not want them to die because they have too much water and they are essentially drowning themselves.
Finally, you will want to make sure that you are giving your plants phosphate rich fertilizer  (sells as  “Flower booster”) every week (or as directed) in the heavy growing season and during the summer months.  This will help keep your flowers bright, healthy and they will be getting the nutrients that they need to grow and when they bloom. You might even notice that their blooms are much nicer when you do this.
